Wow. Bali has never been busier. August was a huge month and our therapists performed a phenomenal job in ensuring our guests enjoyed the most pampered, relaxing holiday possible. We celebrated several record days at both Prana and Chill during August, with more massages, facials, crème baths, body scrubs, Ayurvedic treatments and reflexology treatments than ever before. We continue to go from strength-to-strength and our staff training, product line and service quality remain at the cutting-edge.
As we continue to lead the global spa industry, we are expanding with new spa therapists and support staff, new products such as our Men's Package, new services including an updated yoga schedule for early- and late-risers, and new retail lines. Check out the range of Shankara products now available in reception; if you bring a printed copy of this newsletter during the month of September, you will receive a 30 percent discount on the Shankara collection and Shankara facials. In recognition of Prana's innovation and superior service standards, we are celebrating another award: Prana Restaurant was named one of Indonesia 's top restaurants for the third year running, by Tattler magazine. The award was announced in July following reviews of restaurants around the country. Prana is proud to have been chosen as a winner based on its five-star international cuisine, by an influential high-society magazine.
Meanwhile, Prana Spa has been nominated for two HAPA (Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards) awards: HAPA Signature Destination Spa, and HAPA Spa Experience of the Year, which will be announced in November.

The new reception is located next to our yoga and pilates studio, directly opposite the original reception on the second level.The original reception area will be converted into a deluxe spa room, where couples can enjoy private treatments and herbal baths in a romantic, luxurious atmosphere, accompanied by canapés and champagne.
The renovation provides more relaxation space for guests as well as an expanded reservations department in the back office to handle all bookings discreetly and efficiently. “We know that first impressions count, and Prana is dedicated to engendering a soothing, therapeutic atmosphere from the moment guests arrive at reception, until after they leave in a Nirvana-like state,” said Spa Coordinator Sascha Hansen.
