Welcome to this edition of The Villas Bali Hotel & Spa newsletter. Bali has had a bumper high season and the good vibes are continuing as we look forward to the Lebaran and Christmas holiday periods. The festivities continue and we've got plenty to celebrate at The Villas!
Firstly, we have received two new awards: the 2007 People's Choice award for being the most popular hotel in Bali to deal with as voted by Garuda Orient Holidays staff Australia wide and the Gold Security Award from Bali 's regional police. This security award is the highest accolade issued by the island's police force for compliance with hotel security and safety standards. These awards recognise the hard work put in by The Villas team to continually improve and enhance our guests' experience, and I'd like to thank all staff for their efforts.
Meanwhile The Villas' Green Team, which strives to reduce our ecological footprint by improving environmental practices around the property, joined the broader Bali community recently for Clean Up The World day. We focused on the Sunset Road area and were very proud to be involved in this important initiative.
Finally, as the most important time of year on the Muslim calendar approaches, we have created special Lebaran packages including accommodation at The Villas and discount vouchers to enjoy fine dining at Prana Restaurant, pampering at Prana Spa and Chill Reflexology, and shopping at Prana Gift Shop. Speaking of the Gift Shop, we have introduced a 50% discount on selected products and added some new items to our extensive range of jewellery and accessories. Our new range of quality Balinese handicrafts and artworks provides the perfect memento of your stay on the island.
With all of these initiatives, there's no need to leave the resort if you don't want to, especially with the introduction of our Picnic menu to allow you to order gourmet hampers for delivery to your villa! So settle in to your deck chair, allow yourself to completely unwind and leave everything to us. We will take care of your every need.
